Adult Pottery Class through SOAR
An adult pottery class is back this year as part of the SOAR Spring Enrichment lineup! This wheel-throwing pottery class for adults ages 18+ is taught by Potter Jerry Mahle, who has worked with clay for more than 35 years and has taught ceramics for nearly 30 years, the last 26 at FWCD. Class size is small, with a ratio of 11:1 for eight days of intensive instruction in the clay arts and wheel throwing. All supplies, clay, glazes, tools, etc., are provided for each student. Please wear tennis shoes; no flip-flops. Mahle creates an educational environment that is equally beneficial and powerful for beginners through experienced students. The class is on Tuesdays (January 9-February 27, 2023) from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Sid W. Richardson Visual Arts Center Ceramics Room. Tuition is $275. Register today.
