Trips Announcement

One of FWCD's many goals is to provide programs and experiences that build students’ capacity to thrive in an ever-changing global environment. Overseas expeditions and exchange and cultural programs allow students to investigate the world beyond their own community, learn to recognize and appreciate perspectives other than their own, and encourage them to engage in open and effective interactions across cultures. To allow FWCD families to make informed decisions on travel opportunities, the School has simultaneously provided all of its optional trip opportunities. This will enable students, with their families, to know all possible destinations before making a choice. Some deposit deadlines are approaching. Below are the trip opportunities:

  • November 17-20, 2023: New York, New York (Grades 9-12)
  • March 9-16, 2024 Metepec, Mexico: Homestay with Sister School: CENCA (Grades 7-12)
  • May 28-June 7, 2024: D-Day and Basque Beaches: Remembrance and Celebration (Grades 7-8)
  • June 3-18, 2024: Discovering STEM in ICELAND (Grades 9-11) 0.5 credit Topics in Science
