Caroline Tabor joined the Fort Worth Country Day family this week on Monday, October 16. She is the new Student Accounts and Tuition Assistance Coordinator. Tabor previously worked in the Aledo ISD  for five years as the Secretary to the Deputy Superintendent and Director of Communications. In this role, she served as the liaison between administrators, campus personnel and community members; monitored departmental expenditures to ensure compliance with forecasted budgets; created and organized high-level presentations; and worked collaboratively with a variety of departments to produce staffing and enrollment numbers for the Board of Trustees.

A graduate of Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Communication Studies and a minor in Social Work, Tabor brings a wealth of experience to the School. She began her career working in the athletics arena with the Fort Worth Cats Baseball Club as a Sales Representative, and later with the Texas Rangers as Assistant to the Senior Director of Special Events and Promotions. In 2009, she began at the Mira Vista Country Club, where she was the Communications Coordinator for a year and later the Events Coordinator. In these roles, she was responsible for the creation of monthly newsletters, booking meetings and social events and assisting with their execution, and serving as the primary customer service point of contact for the club.

Tabor has also worked as an Office Administrator and Assurance Administrative Assistant for BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation's leading accounting and advisory firms, and an Audit Administrative Assistant and Receptionist at Hartman Leito & Bolt, a full-service, regional public accounting and consulting firm. She is well-versed in project management and has strong skills related to deadlines and attention to detail.

At FWCD, Tabor is primarily responsible for administering student accounts, tuition assistance, and maintaining accurate financial and student account records.

“Caroline’s experience is incredibly aligned with the needs of the position, and she stood well above the other candidates, said Tom Mitchell, CFO. “We are very excited to have Caroline joining our team!”
