The 2023-24 school year is off to a great start, with Lower and Middle School classes beginning this past Tuesday. Take a look at the first-day fun for all grades: View our First Day slideshow. School opened this year with 1,097 students across the divisions, with 135 new students and 74 new Falcon families.

Here are the 2023-24 Opening Day Notable Numbers: 

Total Students (JK-12): 1,097

Lower School Students: 414

Middle School Students: 317

Upper School Students: 366

Amount Awarded for Tuition Assistance for 2023-24: $3.8 million (22 percent of students)

New FWCD Falcons: 135

New Families to FWCD: 74

New Siblings: 62

New Legacy Students: 36

Full-Time Faculty: 159

Faculty with Advanced Degrees: 52%

Average Number of Service Years for Faculty: 20 (12 at FWCD)

New Faculty/Staff Falcons: 20

Alumni Faculty/Staff Members: 9% (21 faculty/staff and 9 seasonal coaches)
