At just 10 years old, Bunyada Song ’34 has already achieved an extraordinary milestone: performing at Carnegie Hall.

A third-place winner in the Young Musicians Category (ages 5-10) of the 2025 American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music, Song traveled to New York City over winter break to take the stage and perform Song of the Lark by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (Album for the Young, Op. 39, No. XXII). Open to instrumentalists and vocalists from around the world, the International Competition of Romantic Music draws exceptional young talent each year. In 2025, the competition welcomed a record number of applicants from over 75 countries, making Song’s accomplishment all the more impressive. View her performance. The International Competition of Romantic Music is open to instrumentalists (piano, piano duo, winds, strings, chamber orchestras, voice) of all nationalities and countries. Participants must submit video and audio recordings for the audition.
