Randy Eisenman ’93 operates at the intersection of investing, entrepreneurship and sustainability. He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Satori Capital, a multi-strategy investment firm founded on the principles of conscious capitalism. Satori’s private equity business partners with talented leadership teams of companies operating with a long-term perspective, a deep commitment to their mission, and a focus on creating value for all stakeholders. Satori’s alternative business creates and manages customized portfolios primarily by investing in hedge funds, venture capital and growth equity funds, and real assets.
Before co-founding Satori, Randy spent 10 years at Q Investments, a multi-billion-dollar private investment firm. He spearheaded the launch of the firm’s private equity business and served as a partner for seven years, becoming, at age 25, the youngest Partner of the firm.
While at Q Investments, Randy founded Handango to capitalize on the emerging mobile applications market. As President and CEO, he drove the company’s strategy and built a world-class team, positioning Handango as the global leader in the smartphone content market. Handango won numerous awards, including placement in the Inc. 500, being named one of the “Best Companies to Work for in America,” and inclusion in the Top 101 Classic Websites by PC Magazine. Randy was named Ernst & Young’s 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year.
Before Q Investments, Randy worked as a Financial Analyst for Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Principal Investments Area, which manages the firm’s private equity funds and investments. He focused on venture capital, growth equity, and leveraged buyouts across industries. Earlier, he was a Financial Analyst at Bear Stearns, concentrating on mergers and acquisitions, and HBK Investments.
Today, Randy is engaged in organizations that benefit from his expertise and passion. He is a Founding Trustee of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., and remains involved in the organization. Randy participates in the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), having served as the North America Co-Chairman of its Sustainable Business Network and as Co-Chairman of its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network.
A former long-term member of the Cook Children’s Health Foundation Board of Trustees, Randy served on the foundation’s Investment Committee, which was named Small Foundation of the Year in 2010 by Institutional Investor. He also chairs FWCD’s Endowment Investment Committee.
Randy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He has served FWCD in many capacities, including as a member of the Board of Trustees (2013-24), as Board President (2020-23), and on the Executive Committee for seven years. He also served on the Then.Now.Forever Campaign as Leadership Chair and the Forward Together Comprehensive Campaign Steering Committee. Randy also chaired the Steering Committee for Strategic Plan 2030.
