Third graders celebrated Halloween and the final performance in the current Lower School Atrium, by bringing their favorite books to life during the annual Book Character performance. Students gave a brief explanation of the adventures of the main characters in their favorite books and encouraged audience members to learn more by reading the book themselves.

Some of this year’s reads included The Superpower Sisterhood by Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush, The Story Orchestra: The Nutcracker by Katy Flint, The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt, Spy School Project X by Stuart Gibbs, The Happiness Tree: Celebrating the Gifts of Trees We Treasure by Andrea Alban Gosline, Hundred-Acre-Wood Treasury by Mario Cortes and InvestiGators by John Patrick Green.
