On April 14-15, students from FWCD Middle and Upper Schools traveled to Flower Mound to participate in the State Junior Classical League contest. Over 1,200 students representing approximately 80 schools from across Texas competed in individual academic tests, team events (Certamen) and participated in a variety of athletic and artistic activities. FWCD’s teams represented the School admirably and defeated many teams with higher numbers of participants. While this was the largest competition and festival of the school year, many Falcon students have elected to go to National JCL this summer where they will represent FWCD, the North Texas region and the organization for the entire state of Texas. FWCD is exceptionally proud of how hard each of the students has worked and the incredible results they achieved.
