Selected for the program based on her exceptional academic achievement, effective leadership, strong commitment to community service, initiative and perseverance, Alexis Rollings ’23 is a University of Texas at Austin Forty Acres Scholars Program Class of 2027 Finalist. She is only the second FWCD student to earn this honor. Hannah Kelly ’14 was the first. Rollings had many great colleges and universities from which to choose. She has decided to attend Stanford University. 

The Forty Acres Scholars Program, modeled on the Morehead-Cain at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Jefferson Scholars at the University of Virginia, is like no other program at UT. Alexis was one of 64 outstanding high school seniors selected for this premier full-ride, merit-based scholarship. Administered by the Texas Exes, the Forty Acres Scholars Program offers a rich college experience that provides academic, leadership, professional and cultural opportunities within an intimate cohort of fellow scholars.
