Announcement Alumni

In recognition of Fort Worth Country Day’s 60th anniversary during the 2023-24 academic year, the Alumni Association is partnering with Publishing Concepts Inc (PCI) to complete an oral history project and accompanying book. Postcards (see image above) are being sent to all members of our community — alumni, current parents, past parents, and current and former faculty/staff and Trustees and grandparents (some spouses may have inadvertently included)asking them to confirm their contact information (which simply allows us to update our records if needed) and to share their FWCD stories for this project. With a one-person Alumni Relations Office, the School is outsourcing (at no charge to the school) this project. Unfortunately, all people who received the postcard were referred to as alumni, causing many to question this project. Please know the Alumni Relations Office has rectified this for future correspondence.

PCI sent out emails and/or postcards requesting to verify your contact information (see sample image). A phone number is provided for you to call a PCI representative who will verify your contact information, confirm your consent for the project, record your story, and help you preorder the book if you would like. There is no requirement to make a purchase. The interaction takes approximately 15 minutes. All voices will co-write the anthologized publication of FWCD stories, which will be archived for generations of Falcons. View the Frequently Asked Questions document for additional details.

Questions may be directed to [email protected].
