What are regular school hours?
Junior Kindergarten: 8:10 a.m.-1 p.m. (Please note: Junior Kindergarten has a noon dismissal on August 22-September 1. First full day of Junior Kindergarten is Tuesday, September 5.)
Kindergarten/Lower School: 8:10 a.m.-3:10 p.m. (Please note: Kindergarten/Lower School have a noon dismissal on August 22); Kindergarten dismisses at noon from August 22-September 1. The first full day of Kindergarten is Tuesday, September 5.)
Middle School: 8:05 a.m.-3:20 p.m. (grades 5-6); 8:05 a.m.-3:45 p.m. (grades 7-8).
Upper School: 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
When do students learn about their teachers and schedules?
Lower School Class rosters will go live on the FWCD parent portal on Monday, August 15. Remember to mark your calendars for Meet the Teacher on Friday, August 19 (Kindergarten 9-10:30 a.m., Junior Kindergarten 10:30-11:30 a.m, and grades 1-4 10:30-11 a.m.)
Middle School and Upper School schedules are live.
Where can I find school supply lists?
Lower School: Supplies for grades JK-4 are built into the FWCD tuition.
Middle School: Supply lists for grades 6-8 are located on the Middle School Back-to-School webpage, along with other helpful information. Fifth-graders received an email titled How to Prepare for Fifth Grade with information about school supplies.
Upper School: Supply lists for grades 9-12 are determined by each instructor. Students typically learn what they need on the first day of school.
Where do I purchase textbooks?
Monday, August 14, is the final day for students in grades 5-12 to purchase their textbooks online through MBS Direct to receive free shipping. MBS is offering free shipping on orders of $99 and more. If you have questions about textbooks, contact your respective division offices.
Where can I purchase FWCD uniforms?
For gently used uniforms, check out FWCD’s Forever Plaid Resale Shop Sale in the Patton Field House on Saturday, August 12, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Mills Uniform Store is FWCD’s uniform provider. Visit the storefront at 6080 S. Hulen Suite. 390, Fort Worth, TX 76132 or millswear.com. The uniform code 3356.
PE clothing can be purchased in the Campus Store. Preview days are Monday, August 14, and Tuesday, August 15, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The store officially opens on Wednesday, August 16. This year are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. (during school days).
Does FWCD offer bus service?
FWCD is pleased to offer daily morning bus transportation for students who live in the West Fort Worth and Colleyville areas. Bus transportation is offered for morning pick-ups only; afternoon bus service is not available. Detailed information is available at fwcd.org/bus.
