This year, the Slaughter Family Arts Awards received 163 submissions from students at five member schools: All Saints’ Episcopal School, Fort Worth Country Day, Nolan Catholic High School, Trinity Valley School, and Southwest Christian School.

Founded in 2020 by Rebecca (Shaw) ’02 and J Mack Slaughter ’02, the Slaughter Family Arts Awards (SFAA) celebrate and recognize talent and dedication in students with a passion for the arts. The Slaughters formed the arts organization to give back, through scholarship and performance opportunities, to students in member schools who love the arts in school or out of school.

A $500 scholarship accompanies each award. Students in grades 9-12 were invited to visit SFAAwards.org/submissions through March 15 to submit a video or photo representing their artistic talent.
