Physical Education Program

  • In junior kindergarten through grade 4, we offer Dynamic Physical Education classes (focus on fitness development, coordination, body management, sport skill and game-playing)
  • In grades 5-6, we introduce FWCD's interscholastic sports, emphasizing skills, strength and conditioning, knowledge, and team strategies.
  • Each student in grades 7-8 participates in interscholastic athletics every season.
  • Grades 9-11 students may participate in interscholastic athletics or serve as a team manager, assist our Sports Information Department, or enroll in strength and conditioning classes (students must participate in 2 of the 3 seasons). There is no grade 12 athletic requirement, but most seniors participate in athletics.
  • All students in grades 4-12 have the option to participate in ballet for their athletic credit.
