Alumni Artwork on Display

Currently in Moncrief Library Classroom 101, there is a display of photographs created between 2014 and 2018 by former students (now alumni) in Lauren Cunningham’s Art History classes. The photographs are recreations of Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper.
After learning about this famous painting and how Da Vinci's version of the Last Supper scene was unique because of the dynamic arrangement of the figures and their intense facial expressions, students were asked to recreate the photo by posing as Jesus and his disciples. One of Cunningham’s favorite photos in the display showcases Bill Arnold ’86 as Jesus!

Check out the display in  Moncrief Library Classroom 101.
