Lower School Health and Wellness Programs

The Health and Wellness Counselor coordinates special programs and assemblies for the Lower School and visits each classroom on a monthly basis to teach various components of FWCD’s Wellness Curriculum. The program includes the sharing of age-appropriate information on topics such as mental well-being and positive adjustments, character and relationship skills, growth and development, nutrition, substance use and abuse, diseases and disorders, consumer health, safety and injury prevention, and community and environment.
