Whether your child is interested in dance, visual arts, music or theatre, our goal is to energize, educate, nurture and support his or her passion for the arts each and every day! From kindergarten through senior year, FWCD students are given the opportunity to engage with dedicated faculty artists who strive to challenge and motivate students in their artistic pursuits. From the ceramics studio to the photo lab, from the ballet studio to the Scott Theater, from the band hall to the orchestral stage, our students explore their artistic imaginations and goals, tackle the challenges of multiple art forms and artistic concepts, and connect with their teachers and to the world outside of our campus through these exciting cultural experiences.

I invite you to celebrate the arts with us. Our fine arts calendar lists all of our concerts, theatrical performances and art exhibitions. Please join us as we celebrate the hard work and talents of our students and faculty. Fort Worth Country Day is truly a champion of the arts, and we look forward to sharing our arts with you.

Please check out our fine arts Instagram, @fwcd_finearts, where you can get a glimpse of a day in the life of FWCD fine arts students.

  • Join Supporting CAST

Supporting CAST (Creative Arts Students and Teachers) is the fine arts booster club at Fort Worth Country Day. Membership in the organization funds visual and performing arts programs at FWCD that would otherwise not be supported. These experiences enhance students’ artistic visions, open their minds to the arts world beyond FWCD and engage them in hands-on work with dynamic professionals. Last year, CAST donated more than $25,000 to the Fine Arts Program, as well as hosted campus receptions for visual and performing arts events. Join Supporting CAST today at fwcd.org/cast. To learn more about Supporting CAST and volunteer opportunities, contact Pam Darrow, CAST President.

Supporting CAST

Thanks to a Supporting CAST grant, Lower School Music Teachers Karla Dunning and Julie Dean brought in Mark Burrows, local composer and Director of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church (FUMC), to meet with fourth-graders to discuss elements of the composition process and brainstorm about new music for their spring program. Watch the video for a behind-the-scenes look at how the new songs came together.

Supporting CAST—Creative Arts Students and Teachers—helps to fund one-of-a-kind visual and performing arts activities with visiting artists that support Fort Worth Country Day’s fine arts curriculum in unique and powerful ways. To make a gift online or learn more about Supporting CAST, visit fwcd.org/cast.
