I want to welcome you to one of the most inspiring, joyful places that I know-- Fort Worth Country Day’s Lower School. Whether your child is creating in the Kindergarten or exploring in the fourth grade, the opportunities here are unrivaled. FWCD students are immersed in an education that comprises excellent academics and exceptional character development and are embraced in a nurturing, safe and serene environment.
We accomplish all this because we, as a community, love teaching. We know that children learn best when experiences are engaging and authentic. Our teachers know each and every child that walks through our hallways, and we craft and deliver instruction that is challenging, yet appropriate, for every student.
Education is a passion for us at Fort Worth Country Day. I invite you to visit our Butler Kindergarten Building and our Lower School so you can see and experience our devotion to students firsthand. Peek into our classrooms, chat with a teacher, take a walk through our building and view the exceptional student work that lines the hallways. I am confident you will come away with the same feeling of awe and wonderment that I feel every day.
Fort Worth Country Day (FWCD) is a JK-12 private, independent, coeducational, nondenominational college-preparatory school located on approximately 100 acres in Fort Worth, Texas.
