Welcome from the Head of School
Since joining this community in 2015, a favorite part of my role as Head of School has been that of “Storyteller-in-Chief.” I love telling the story of Fort Worth Country Day, and I love sharing what makes our school unique.
Our school is more than teachers and students in classrooms; we are a community working together to help children grow and learn. We cultivate values in addition to knowledge. We prioritize opportunities to shine making sure each of our students, every year, has significant experiences in our time-honored 3A’s … academics, arts and athletics. We guide social-emotional development in addition to providing learning support.
Our job is not to eliminate challenges ... It is to help students learn to navigate those challenges.
Our job is not to eliminate challenges ...
It is to help students learn to navigate those challenges. Our faculty and staff love being a part of the team that helps our students meet and even exceed their potential.
To be a part of the Falcon community is to be a part of a wonderful family. FWCD is a community with a vibrant and inclusive culture that deeply cares for one another. Our faculty and staff pride themselves on creating a nurturing environment where all students are encouraged to express themselves.
The only way to truly “get” this incredible school is to come to campus and visit in person. Seeing our 104-acre campus active with more than 1,100 students, 220 faculty and staff, and any number of parent volunteers on any given day tells its own story.
I will be eager to know your FWCD story as it unfolds. Start your connection now by calling us at 817.302.3209, submitting an inquiry, or scheduling a visit.
I hope we get the chance to welcome you to campus soon!
