FWCD Students Cast in Upcoming Casa Mañana Children’s Theatre Production

Claire Guthrie ’20, Frankie Leoni ’26 and Rocco Leoni ’23 have been cast in the Casa Mañana Children’s Theatre production of Santa Claus: A New Musical. It will be performed at Casa Mañana in the mornings on November 28-December 15.

Claire has performed in several shows outside of school, including The Little Mermaid at Theatre Arlington, White Christmas at Artisan Center Theatre, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown at Kids Who Care and, most recently, she spent the past two summers at Interlochen Center of the Arts in Michigan. This is Rocco's second production at Casa Mañana. He was previously seen in The Wizard of Oz. This is Frankie’s Casa debut. Outside of school, they have performed most recently at The House of Blues in Dallas. They are excited to announce they have just been invited to perform the National Anthem and God Bless America, which is performed at the seventh-inning stretch, for the Texas Rangers’ opening weekend against the Houston Astros, March 30. Both are nationally televised.
Casa Mañana Children’s Theatre has brought classic professional children’s theatre to Fort Worth for more than 50 years. Each year, Children’s Theatre performances give more than 120,000 children their first live theatre experience. Special morning school performances are scheduled for each Children Theatre production, bringing over 67,000 students and teachers from more than 300 areas schools to the theatre.
