Fourth-Grade T-shirt Contest

Each year, fourth-graders study graphic design in Dorrine DeChant’s visual arts class. DeChant not only teaches advanced concepts, she inspires students to create a graphic illustrating the Lower School PRIDE core value of the year. This year, that core value is kindness. There were 13 finalists this year:

Haralson Condrey
Courtney Comeaux
Christopher Knutson
Vishwa Lavu
Henry Murphey
Cal Neubauer
Jack O’Neal
Garrett O’Neill
Madeline O’Neill
William Marlow
Adam Pierce
Kitty Sollows
Eloise Wallace

Fourth-grade students then voted on the design, which, in turn, will adorn this year’s fourth-grade T-shirt. William Marlow is this year’s winner with Kindness Lights up the Darkness. Fourth-graders wear their shirts on Lower School Families meeting days.
