Falcon Fun in the Sun Summer Camps

Welcome to Falcon Fun in the Sun at FWCD!

Fort Worth Country Day is a K-12 independent school located in southwest Fort Worth. Our Falcon Fun in the Sun Summer Programs offer a wide variety of summer programs for ages 4-18. Our 70+ camps and programs are offered from May 29th through July 27th with programs running in one to three-week blocks. Campers have the option to come for the morning, afternoon or stay all day! Join us for a week or the full summer and customize your summer with us!

We are excited to announce several new offerings for Summer 2018!
  • New Programs: Our 70+ camps and programs feature past favorites and many new programs such as Kids Yoga, Lego Robotics and Little Medical School.
  • Before and After Care - Before Care runs from 8-9 a.m. and After Care runs from 3:30-6 p.m. Registration for this service can be found as a “Session Option” when you register for camps.
  • Afternoon Programs Added – In addition to our full day and half day sessions, we now offer programs from 4-5:30 p.m. as well. Check the list of camps for more information.
  • Lunch – Campers will have the option of having lunch provided for them by SAGE dining. Parents can select this offering under “Session Options” when registering for camps.

  • FALCON TENNIS CAMP II (Grades 6-12)

    Coach Angel Martinez (USPTA Elite) leads campers in grades 6-12 on the courts through a series of drills, competitions, and more! Open to everyone from beginners to advanced players. Bring a hat, sunblock, a water jug and a great attitude!

  • FALCON FRENZY SPORTS CAMP IV (Grades K–6)

    Falcon Frenzy is a week of PE fun and games. Campers participate in a wide variety of sports and recreational activities that promote spirit, teamwork, skills and sportsmanship. Campers are encouraged to wear shorts, T-shirts and tennis shoes.

  • KEEP CALM AND LOVE SPANISH! (Grades K–2)

    Get ready for a new year in Spanish class at this summer camp! Señora Booth will help you review and learn a variety of topics. Through games, music and hands-on activities students will reinforce basic skills of language acquisition: listening and speaking in the target language. Come and learn about Spanish culture, facts and snacks. You will love speaking Spanish!

  • SURVIVING THE COLLEGE ESSAY II (Grade 12 only)

    This one-week workshop trains incoming seniors in the art of the personal essay. Using prompts for the current Apply Texas and Common Application college essay, students learn how to craft a creative and compelling essay that best represents their strengths. The course comprises some instruction and examination of sample essays, brainstorming activities, and time for writing and coaching. The final requirement for the course is a one-on-one essay consultation and critique with the instructor.
