In 1920s Chicago, Roxie Hart commits a murder and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap ... until he finds out he’s been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another murderess, Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune and acquittal. This is Chicago High School Edition by Bob Fosse, Fred Ebb and John Kander.

One of Broadway’s longest-running American musicalsChicago High School Edition takes a dazzling and satirical look at fame, justice and the media machine. Tonya Wathen, who currently plays Hunyak in Chicago on Broadway and is the Roxie understudy, serves as a Guest Choreographer. Caitlin Carter, who performed in the original Chicago Broadway cast has been a Production Advisor. You won’t want to miss this year’s musical!

Parental guidance is strongly suggested for Chicago High School Edition. This musical portrays murder, fame and 1920s Chicago. Not all themes are suitable for children. If you have questions about the show, contact Chelsy Merrill.
