FWCD Welcomes New Alumni Council Members

The Fort Worth Country Day Alumni Council is excited to welcome seven new members who will begin their terms in the 2026-27 school year. These alumni represent a range of graduation years, career and volunteer backgrounds, and experiences. We are excited to see the impact they will make on our alumni and school community! Nominations are reviewed each spring when the Alumni Council votes on a slate of new members. 

Perry Ginsburg ’10
Perry is a proud “Original” who graduated from FWCD in 2010, but the School never quite left his life. His sister, Serena Ginsburg ’17, came up a few years behind him, and his wife, Shelby, taught third grade at FWCD (2022-24). He earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Today, he is a Vice President at LKCM Headwater Investments, the private equity arm of Luther King Capital Management, where he sources and diligences investments and partners with management teams to drive growth and build better companies. He also serves as Vice President of the board of Gill Children’s Services, a Fort Worth nonprofit that acts as a funding source of last resort for Tarrant County children in need. Perry and Shelby live in Crestwood with their two young children, Louis and Eleanor. Serving on the Alumni Council is one way Perry hopes to give back to a school that has given his family so much.

Adelaide Kline Liedtke ’74
Adelaide graduated from FWCD in 1974, after joining the School in seventh grade. Adelaide, who served as Student Body President during her senior year, followed her brother, George ’67, who was part of the first full graduating class. After earning her degree from SMU, Adelaide began her career in insurance in Houston before moving to Oklahoma City with her husband, William, in 1981, where they have remained ever since. In Oklahoma City, Adelaide has dedicated decades to civic leadership and philanthropy. As President of the Junior League of Oklahoma City during the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, she coordinated volunteers, fundraising, and relief efforts that supported the city’s response. At the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, she co-chaired a statewide hunger campaign and a $5 million capital campaign to build a new warehouse and headquarters before serving multiple terms on its Board of Directors. She was a founding member of The Associates of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, helping engage young professionals and later serving on the museum’s Board of Trustees following the merger of the city’s two art museums. Adelaide also held numerous leadership roles with Casady School (where her three children attended), the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and the Oklahoma City alumnae chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. She currently serves on the National Board of Trustees of Sulgrave Manor, the ancestral home of George Washington in England, helping preserve this historic site through fundraising and stewardship.

Brooke Mills ’07
Brooke is a board-certified Academic Rheumatologist at UT Southwestern, where she serves as an Assistant Professor. Her clinical practice is based in Fort Worth, and she is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows at Parkland Memorial Hospital and Clements University Hospital in Dallas. Her research interests focus on reproductive health care in patients with systemic rheumatologic diseases. Brooke and her husband, Charles Saadeh, are proud parents of twin daughters. As an FWCD alum, Brooke feels that her 13 years at the School gave her the foundation and confidence to pursue her career and life goals and fostered many lifelong friendships. She is excited to serve on the Alumni Council, support current students as they navigate life after graduation, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the FWCD community.

Mia Pulido ’17
Mia is a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse at Children’s Health and holds a master’s degree in Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is an active member of the Fort Worth Tri Delta alumnae chapter, where she serves as Philanthropy Chair. Mia graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S.N in Nursing and continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After spending three years in Birmingham, she returned to the DFW area and is excited to serve on the Alumni Council. FWCD has long been a meaningful part of her life. With her mother, Denise Pulido, currently teaching at the School, she feels especially grateful for the lasting sense of community and connection it has provided her family. She looks forward to giving back to the School that helped shape her and staying involved in the community that makes FWCD so special.

Mary Hallman Smith ’03
Mary attended FWCD from kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduation, she earned a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the University of Southern California and a J.D. with Honors from The University of Texas School of Law. Mary started her career as an Appellate Lawyer with Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP. Currently, she works for her family and as a Briefing Attorney with Gardner Smith & Vaughan, PLLC. Mary and her husband, Dwayne, have three children at FWCD. Since 2011, Mary has served FWCD in various roles: on the Alumni Council, Board of Trustees, and various Board committees; as a Lower School Library volunteer; and as a member of the Falcon Inclusion Team. In addition to supporting FWCD, Mary and Dwayne have served as board members for Performing Arts Fort Worth, the Multicultural Alliance, CASA of Tarrant County, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and Soar: the M2G Mental Health Initiative.

Molly Thompson Van Amburgh ’07
Molly attended FWCD from kindergarten through ninth grade. Other Falcons in her family include her sister, Kate Thompson Crane ’04; her mother, Carla Kemp Thompson ’75; and her father, Kelly Thompson ’77. Molly received her B.A. in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin and then attended graduate school at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she focused on interior design. Molly is thankful that life has brought her back to Fort Worth with her husband, Pete, and two sons, who are current Falcons. Pete serves on FWCD’s Advancement Committee. Molly runs an interior design firm, Molly Van Amburgh Interior Design. She enjoys being involved in the Fort Worth community and is excited to be a part of the FWCD Alumni Council. 

Cornell Woolridge ’96
Cornell received a B.A. in English from Skidmore College, an M.S. in Ethics and Public Policy from Suffolk University, and post-graduate Certification in Transformative Leadership from Notre Dame of Maryland University. His passion for empowering others and building community has led to a 25+ year career in civic engagement, politics and education. He is the Senior Assistant Director of Admission at Austin College and the Founder and Principal of CivicSolve. This civic empowerment consulting firm has worked with national, state and local organizations, leading trainings, facilitations, and building civic capacity to achieve short- and long-term goals. Managing successful political and issue campaigns in Texas, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, Cornell has been featured on national and local TV and radio for his civic engagement. He lives in Fort Worth with his partner, Candace Parsley ’95, and their dogs, Falkor and Coco. Cornell is excited to give back to a school and community that have given him so much.
