FWCD Latin Students Attend 2026 National Junior Classical League Convention 

Eight FWCD Latin students traveled to Indiana University for the 73rd National Junior Classical League Convention Thomas Cole ’31, Andrew Kim ’30, Samuel Lim ’30, Jason Lobo ’30, Hudson Parcells ’28, Grace Rymell ’30 and Ian Wood ’30 participated in academic and athletic competitions, attended seminars led by experts in various classics-related disciplines, and made new friends. Middle School Latin Teacher Clint Hagen and Middle School Science Teacher Victoria Bergman chaperoned the group. “We are very proud of how well this group represented FWCD this year,” Hagen said. “The competition at the national level is very tough, and any place in the top 20 is really impressive. The fact that we also had some top 10 and top five results is amazing.”
