Fort Worth Country Day creates a variety of internal and external publications pieces throughout the year, including the School’s signature piece, Falconer, a bi-annual magazine, which is mailed to all alumni, current and past parents, former and current Trustees, grandparents, and faculty and staff. Other publications include the weekly FWCD Update eNewsletter for current parents.

    College Day at FWCD

    This year’s College Day was back in-person on September 16, and the Sid W. Richardson Gymnasium was bustling with admission officers from 159 colleges and universities from across the U.S. and around the world. FWCD 11th- and 12th-grade students were joined by juniors and seniors from All Saints’ Episcopal School, The Oakridge School, Trinity Valley School, Breakthrough Fort Worth and the Young Women’s Leadership Academy.     Six FWCD Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

    Seniors Christopher Baker, Rob Batton, Eliana Garcia, Seth Mayhue, Alexis Rollings and Tommy Weaver were named National Merit Semifinalists. These outstanding seniors are among the more than 16,000 Semifinalists in the 68th National Merit Scholarship Program announced nationally on Wednesday, September 14. They are six of the 1,571 Semifinalists named in the state of Texas.
